WHY CAN’T I TURN MY FAT INTO MUSCLE?

✖️Well, no one wants to see this but… its pretty clear right? They are two totally different types of tissue. It would be like trying to turn silver into gold.

You just cant.

What you can do is reduce the amount of fat your body carries by following a calorie deficit diet and increasing your overall energy expenditure with daily activity above and beyond your norm.

What you can also do is increase the amount of muscle tissue you hold by lifting with resistance so you cause minor damage to the muscle fibre in order for it to repair stronger.

Oh and look at the difference in volume vs weight. Both images are the same weight but the fat takes us twice as much area. So if you reduce fat and replace with muscle your overall bodyweight my actually be the same but you would look half the size, be stronger and have more energy.

Top Tip always use a tape measure too when on a Body Fat loss mission as the scales wont always tell the full story
